CAMELOT is a creative documentary that investigates and celebrates male role models in South Wales.
CAMELOT tells the story of the making of a fantastical primary school play: King Arthur and His Knights. It compares this familiar and evocative legend with the real lives of the young cast’s father figures in the community.
Audiences will be immersed in the imaginative world created by the children onstage, and also taken around the community around the school to get to know the unique and varied individuals who are their real heroes.
In spring 2019, I will be collaborating with the Arts and Education Network of South East Wales, and with the Fusion Network to research and produce proof of concept.
